About Teesside Driveways
Teesside Driveways is a free-to-use service that matches homeowners across the TS postcodes with local driveway contractors on our partner network. We're operated by 360 Media Works Ltd, a Teesside-based digital business, and we're paid a referral fee by our partner network — never by you.
What we do
Getting a driveway quote the traditional way means ringing round contractors from directories, hoping they call back, and having no basis for comparing what comes back. We built Teesside Driveways to fix that: one two-minute form, up to 5 quotes from local contractors on our partner network, usually within 24 hours, without obligation.
We're not a contractor and we don't carry out work. Your contract, guarantee and payment are always with the contractor you choose — our job is to get your request in front of established local firms so you can compare them side by side.
Who checks the contractors
Matching is run by our partner network — every contractor on it is ID-verified and reviewed by real customers on the platform, and poorly rated firms stop receiving work. We don't vet firms ourselves. Our advice before hiring anyone, through us or otherwise: confirm public liability insurance, insist on an itemised written quote (excavation depth, sub-base spec and drainage stated — not a single line and a cash price), and get the guarantee in writing.
How we make money
We're paid a referral fee by our partner network when we introduce a customer — the same model as most comparison services. You never pay us, and the fee doesn't change the quote you receive. We think being upfront about that is simply good business.
Who writes and checks the content
Editorial on this site — the price guides, material comparisons and planning explainers — is researched and maintained by Simon Hogben, founder of 360 Media Works Ltd. Simon has run local digital businesses on Teesside for over a decade, and the guides here follow one rule: prices, rules and processes must be stated specifically enough to be checked, and updated when they change. Prices are reviewed quarterly; the planning guides track the four Teesside borough councils' current processes. If you spot anything out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
